Youth STEAM Program

The Urban League of Palm Beach County is passionate about offering Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math to middle school students in our community.  Through the provision of NextEra and FPL, we have been given the opportunity run after-school programming at Bear Lakes Middle School, Lake Worth Middle School, H.L. Watkins Middle School and L.C. Swain Middle School for free to interested students during the 2024-2025 school year.  Youth enrolled have had the privilege of participating in weekly workshops related to various STEAM topics.  In addition, exciting field trips such as attending Busch Wildlife, Museum of Discovery and Science and various performances and live events at the Kravis Center have taken place already this school year.  Take a look at the adventures our STEAM Team students have taken part in under the direction of Mr. KJ Hall-Robinson, STEAM Coordinator.
