Dear Friends,
It is with immense pleasure and pride; I extend warm greetings to each of you as the President and CEO of the Urban League of Palm Beach County (ULPBC). For the past Twenty-Two (22) years, it has been my honor to serve this esteemed organization and communities across Palm Beach County. Our mission is to assist African Americans and other minorities achieve social and economic equality. We practice the full intent of our mission daily, serving over 18,000 clients annually.
We are dedicated to making a lasting impact in Palm Beach County by addressing critical issues such as Youth & Education Empowerment, Economic Empowerment, Community Empowerment, and advocacy. For almost 51 years the ULPBC has been supporting residents through after school youth programs, housing counseling classes, job training and placement programs, and community advocacy (voting registration, education and GOTV, etc.).
Over the years, we have established ourselves as a gold-standard non-profit in Palm Beach County. The ULPBC has been recognized locally by funding agencies and the National Urban League, as a top affiliate nationally. In 2022, McKenzie Scott rewarded the ULPBC with a large donation, recognizing almost fifty (50) years of excellence in service delivery and advocacy.
The individuals and families we serve are our utmost concern. As we empower communities and change lives, the ULPBC is working daily for you. We do our best to meet our clients where they are and address whatever their needs might be. We are a full-service non-profit focused on resolving issues. With your support, time and resources we can be effective in Palm Beach County.
