This program provides participants an opportunity to earn industry recognized credentials that can increase their wages and improve their marketability for upward growth. Participants will be evaluated and assessed and will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a program coordinator to identify any barriers that may inhibit success.
The program benefits both job seekers and employers in a variety of ways:
- Transportation allowance assistance
- Instructions, study materials, and test vouchers
- Job placement assistance and retention services
- Stipends for milestone achievement
- Ages 18 or older
- Interested in obtaining an Information Technology Industry Recognized Credential
- HS Diploma, equivalent or higher
- Unemployed
- “Underemployed”: episodic, short-term, or part-time
- Not reconnected with a job that is commensurate with equal education, skills or previous wage level
- Incumbent worker – Established employment with an employer on a full-time basis
