Trailblazers Black Heritage Breakfast: Celebrating the Achievements of Black Women

On February 27, 2025, the Urban League of Palm Beach County, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation and X102.3 hosted a panel event at the Riviera Beach Marina Village featuring Rachelle Franklin (Global Tech and Marketing Leader, President and COO, Global Division, UWG Inc.) as Moderator, Dr. Emma Banks (CEO and President Inlet Grove Community High School), Alyshia Bennett (Senior VP, Valley Bank), Verdenia Baker (County Administrator, Palm Beach County), Salesia Smith-Gordon, Esq. (Personal Injury Lawyer) and Tania Rogers (WPTV News Channel 5) as panelists.  These extraordinary leaders shared valuable wisdom and insight to the full room of community members in attendance.  All participants were motivated by the panelist’s stories of perseverance, innovation and triumphs.  Thank you to all who came out to support this important event.
