Urban League of Palm Beach County participated this week in the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties’ “On The Table” small-group, meal-time conversations.
Our group explored meaningful ideas about how to cultivate a stronger community – particularly through housing.
We talked about: How can we help more low-moderate income residences apply for home loans? And we discussed what are the contributing factors toward lack of affordable housing in Palm Beach County?
It’s the second year the Urban League of Palm Beach County participated in this civic engagement initiative, funded through Knight Foundation, which unites people of all ages and diverse backgrounds to discuss issues that impact their community.
