In 2021, More Than 500 People Helped Through ULPBC’s Comprehensive Housing Program

The Urban League of Palm Beach County has completed another successful year of our comprehensive housing program.

In 2021, we conducted 15 First Time Homebuyers Education Workshops with 525 people attending the classes.

For more than 28 years, our staff has provided housing and counseling services to help individuals and families purchase homes or avoid foreclosure.

More specifically, we are a HUD-approved 501 (c)(3) non-profit Housing Counseling Agency with four HUD certified housing counselors assisting low-to-moderate income clients in obtaining and maintaining stable housing, acquiring financial literacy skills, and building savings to create sustainability and self-sufficiency.

There are many organizations and individuals who have made this possible.

The long list includes: Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development, Bank of America, Capital One, Fifth Third, PNC, Third Federal, Wells Fargo, and others.

In addition, other agencies have offered services and volunteered their time in serving our clients, including Legal Aid Society of PBC, Fair Housing Center of the Greater Palm Beaches, and Palm Beach County Community Land Trust.

Our staff looks forward to helping many more individuals and families in 2022 reach their dream of owning a home in Palm Beach County.

We thank everyone involved in our comprehensive housing program.
