Why I Joined ULPBC:

I joined the Urban League Board of Directors several years ago as I was looking for an opportunity to give back to the Community in a meaningful and personal way.  At one time or another, we have or have someone very close to us need opportunity to better our lives.  While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I worked as a Legislative Aide and became very familiar with the plight of minorities in inner city Milwaukee.  This left a lasting impression and many, many years later, I discovered the Urban League through a good friend and former Urban League Chairperson, Nancy Robin. I am inspired by the testimonials of individuals served and the passion of the Urban League staff to carry out its mission.
