Urban League of Palm Beach County Offers Free Halotherapy

The Urban League of Palm Beach County is offering halotherapy free of charge to our community.

Halotherapy, often called salt therapy, involves breathing in air with tiny salt particles to improve your breathing.

It’s considered an alternative treatment for lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough.

Here’s how it works: Clients breathe in the micro-sized salt particles, which are immediately transported to every part of the respiratory tract, even the smallest alveoli, and bronchioles.

Salt therapy may eliminate the root of inflammatory respiratory illnesses in the lower and upper tract like asthma, bronchitis, and allergies by destroying bacteria and restoring health and immunity.

This therapy can also help you relax and may help with skin conditions and allergies.

Halotherapy is available by appointment only from 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Urban League of Palm Beach County office at 1700 N. Australian Avenue in West Palm Beach.

Call 561-833-1461 to make an appointment.
