Over 3.2 million Floridians signed up for health insurance benefits through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), up more than 500,000 than last year. Tampa State Representative Kathy Castor stated, “Floridians will save an average of $590/year, spending no more than 8.5% of their income on premiums, while receiving all the benefits of the Affordable Care Act including coverage for preexisting conditions like cancer and diabetes.”
The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as “Obamacare,” provides a comprehensive, statewide, public awareness campaign aimed at identifying and assisting uninsured individuals across Palm Beach County to access and navigate the Health Exchange Marketplace.
