In addition to our ongoing programming and COVID-19 crisis relief efforts, the Florida Urban Leagues and Derrick Brooks Charities are participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving and unity on May 5. This is similar to the regularly scheduled December 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – but an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the need to advance economic empowerment for underserved families, as well as our efforts to address disparities in education, income and health which existed long before this crisis. Be assured that once you donate to this statewide campaign, your money will go to help your neighbors that need it most.
