West Palm Beach, FL – August 17, 2024 – Patrick Franklin, the distinguished President and CEO of the Urban League of Palm Beach County (ULPBC), was honored with the prestigious John W. Mack Medal of Honor at the 2024 Whitney M. Young, Jr. Awards Gala, held during the National Urban League (NUL) Conference in New Orleans on Friday, July 26, 2024.
The John W. Mack Medal of Honor is one of the National Urban League’s highest accolades, awarded to an Affiliate that demonstrates extraordinary and unwavering commitment in addressing social and economic equality. Mr. Franklin’s receipt of this esteemed award is a testament to his outstanding leadership and the significant impact that ULPBC has made in the Palm Beach County community under his guidance.
Only four of the 92 Urban League Affiliates, serving 300 communities across 36 states and the District of Columbia, were selected to receive this distinguished honor.
