Today is Census Day, and there’s no better time to spread the word about why it’s important to respond to the 2020 Census.
Watch West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James discuss the census here.
Tens of millions of households have already responded to the 2020 Census online and many thousands have by phone and mail. In fact, as of today, 36.2% of households across the country have responded to the 2020 Census. It has never been easier to respond to the census or to help promote the census from your own home.
So, help us spread the message that everyone should be counted where they live and sleep most of the time as of today, April 1, and everyone who usually lives and sleeps in their household should be included in their count.
Keep in mind: by completing the 2020 Census, you are ensuring that our community receives the funding and resources needed for schools, roads, medical facilities, and much more.
Taking the census is simple, easy and fast.
You can choose to complete the census online (https://my2020census.gov), by phone, or by mail.

Please make sure your employees, customers, partners, friends, family and social networks know about the importance of responding to the census. Responding now will minimize the need to send census takers out into communities to follow up.
