The Urban League of Palm Beach County has received a $6,777 grant from Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation to support our mission.
“As always, we are very grateful for the support we get from our corporate partners — including Comcast NBCUniversal which is so generous in helping us meet our mission of assisting African-Americans and other minorities in the achievement of social and economic equality,” said Patrick Franklin, president and CEO of Urban League of Palm Beach County.
The grant was presented as part of the 18th annual Comcast Cares Day, which celebrates the spirit of volunteerism of Comcast NBCUniversal employees. In all, more than 120,000 Comcast NBCUniversal employees and their families, as well as other partners, have volunteered at 1,450 projects in 23 projects across the world.
