We celebrated our 51st Annual Opportunity Day Awards Gala on Friday at the Palm beach County Convention Center with an evening filled with recognition, inspiration, and entertainment! Mark Morial, President and CEO of The National Urban League, graced the occasion as the special guest speaker, sharing insights and perspectives on the importance of community engagement and empowerment. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to remarkable leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service:
- Deborah Caplan was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for her tireless commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families in the Palm Beach County community.
- Tammy Jackson-Moore received the Trailblazer Award in recognition of her pioneering efforts and innovative contributions to her field.
- Kaden Belfour was honored with an award for his outstanding achievements and leadership.
- The Alfred Malfatto Humanitarian Award was presented to Elizabeth Woody for her compassion, generosity, and philanthropic endeavors.
The success of our gala would not have been possible without the generous support of corporate partners who share the League’s mission and vision for a stronger, more inclusive community.
Congratulation to our honorees, and thank you to all who attended and supported our gala!
