Workforce Development

PBSO Workforce Development Program

Our Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Workforce Development Program is for young adults living in the unincorporated areas of West Palm Beach, who have been involved in the criminal justice system and/or are high school drop outs. Participants are provided classroom training, case management and workforce development activities.


  • Career exploration and experiences
  • Access to employers and job placement assistance
  • Personalized financial planning services
  • Case management and educational supportive services
  • Stipends for participation in select activities
  • Referrals to other agencies as needed

Target population and participation requirements

Free of charge to people who meet the following eligibility requirements

  • Adults between the ages of 18 to 24 in the unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County
  • Currently or previously involved in the criminal justice system or a high school dropout
  • Demonstrate an interest in the program
